Science of Disorder

Science of Disorder

Science of Disorder is Swiss metal band formed in 2011 from the ashes of Soulless (formed in 1989).

Composed of members of Promethee and deceased bands Your Own Decay and Sybreed, SoD’s style is a mix between old school metal and heavy Swedish sound.

The band releases its first album “Heart, Blood and Tears” in 2012. Featuring Kevin Talley (Misery Index, Chimaira, Suffocation, Dying Fetus) as session drummer, the album is mastered by Tue Madsen in Denmark. SoD opens for Megadeth in Lausanne and is chosen as the opening support slot for Entombed‘s shows in France and Switzerland.

Following the death of singer Chris shortly after HBT’s release, the band goes in indefinite hiatus until 2017 and the arrival of Jerome as new vocalist.

SoD’s second album “Private Hell”, recorded, mixed and mastered by DROP (Samael, Sybreed) in Geneva, is released in May 2018 under Fastball Music (Germany) and Black Market Music. In October the band headlines a 2-weeks tour in Russia. In 2019, the band opens for Septicflesh during their Codex Tour in Eastern Europe and for Bullet For My Valentine in Geneva.

Science of Disorder has announced a new album for the end of 2020, which will be produced by Kris Norris (Darkest Hour, Scar the Martyr).
